Index Funds

Index funds that focus on a specific market index

Index funds provide market exposure by tracking the returns and characteristics of an index as closely as possible. The portfolio advisors may use a variety of strategies to achieve this objective. As passive investments, the risk and return characteristics of index funds are limited to those of the indices they track. Bond index funds usually have less risk than equity index funds.
