Mutual fund functions on Scotia OnLine

To see your mutual fund details:

1. Sign on to Scotia OnLine
2. From your Account Summary page, click on the account you wish to view

After Step 2 above you will see your mutual fund details displayed on-screen.

To open a new TFSA, registered, or non-registered SSI Investment Account and purchase ScotiaFunds:

1. Sign on to Scotia OnLine
2. Click the "Apply for more investing products" link located above the "Balance" column on your Account Summary page
3. Click on the type of account you'd like to open (RRSP, TFSA, or Non-Registered) and follow the on-screen instructions
   

To purchase ScotiaFunds in your existing TFSA, registered or non-registered SSI Investment Account:

1. Sign on to Scotia OnLine
   
2. Under the Quick Menu drop down, click on “Add to existing investment”
   
3. Click on the investment account to which you wish to contribute
   
4. Click the "Make Contribution" button located on the lower right-hand side of the page and follow the on-screen instructions
   

To switch between ScotiaFunds (e.g., from the Canadian Balanced Fund to the Canadian Income Fund) in your existing SSI Investment Account:

1. Sign on to Scotia OnLine
2. Go to Manage My Accounts>Additional Services>Scotia Investments
3. Select "Switch your Mutual Funds" from the Scotia Investments page
4. Select the investment account via the drop-down menu located under the "Mutual Fund Switch" heading
5. Click the "Continue" button and follow the on-screen instructions
